Hello, my name is Tiffany Packer!
It’s been pointed out to me that when I really get to know a person, I intuitively shorten their name. Reversely, when people call me “Tiff” I find it absolutely endearing, and that is exactly how I approach design. I want it to be personal, warm, appealing, charming…I want it to be endearing to you.
Although design hasn’t been a career until lately, I have been educating myself for 20+ years. I remember visiting my Grandma’s Southern California house as a child and excitedly going through her Architectual Digest magazines. When it came to my teenage room, first apartment, first home, design was all I could think about and every square inch was calculated. Just a few of the designers that have inspired me over the years are: Nate Berkus – my first design crush, Kirsten Krason from 6th Street Design School for her fresh and happy spaces, Jenny Komenda from Little Green Notebook for her unique DIY skills, and Emily Henderson for her mix of old and new. I have taken a blessed detour for a decade teaching elementary school and raising two beautiful girls, but I couldn’t ignore my design soul any longer, and that is how By Tiff Designs was created. After years of encouragement from friends and family, I am pinching myself doing what I LOVE to do, and sharing that with you.
